PHC orders to evacuate scrapfrom Shahi Bagh within month

PESHAWAR: A divisional bench comprising of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Abdul Shakoor directed Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Peshawar to cleanup Shahi Bagh from Fun-land’s scrap within one month, on Tuesday.

During PHC was informed that a state-of-art ladies park has been established on fun-land area to provide facilities to women folk while Additional Attorney General Syed Sikandar Hayat Shah, Focal Person Forests Tariq Shah and TMO Town One Waqas Shah appeared before court.

In front of Government College Peshawar has recovered from land grabbers and a state-of-art part has been establish on the site.

The counsel Munsif Saeed Advocate argued that stated claimed as encroachment while it belongs to petitioner and a supplementary petition has submitted before court to obtain opportunity for clearance his status.

In the meantime, Chief Justice directed AAG Syed Sikandar Shah to submit report regarding declaration of land that it belongs to petitioner or not? While Focal Person Tariq Shah argued that 75% works are completed on ladies park and it would provide modern facilities to women folk in Peshawar.

Unfortunately, properties of billions of rupees are available but no one is utilizing it while everyone awakes after court’s intervention and land grabbers are waiting to stole precious properties, the Chief Justice remarked.

The divisional bench comprising of Chief Justice PHC Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Abdul Shakoor ordered to TMA Peshawar evacuate fun-land scrap within one month and directed AAG to submit reply on supplementary application regarding ownership while adjourned further hearing.
