
KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi met with Takashi Okada, the ambassador of Japan in Kabul.
“Afghanistan has historical and good relations with Japan, and we hope that the Japanese embassy in Afghanistan will resume its mission, as far the security is ensured in the country”.
The Islamic Emirate is not against education, in many educational centers and offices, the educational and work process continues as normal, corruption and drugs have been reduced, human rights are ensured according to Islamic Sharia, and general amnesty is executed.
Meanwhile, Japan’s ambassador in Kabul expressed his condolences over the loss of life caused by the recent earthquake and floods in the country.
He said our cooperation and humanitarian aid continue as before and our urgent aid for the victims of the recent incidents has arrived through the Afghan Red Crescent. The peace and stability in Afghanistan are for the benefit of the region and the world, we work together with Afghans to attain permanent peace and stability.
Ambassador Okada asked the international community to continue their humanitarian aid to Afghanistan unconditionally.
In the end, the head of the “JICA” organization in Afghanistan who accompanied the meeting expressed his satisfaction with the provision of national security in the country.
“We hope that by reopening the Japanese embassy in Kabul as soon as possible, we will be able to continue our mission in the direction of providing humanitarian and development aid to Afghans,” he said.
