PESHAWAR: Chief Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman Saturday vows to fight against Imran Khan and said that PTI chairman has been imposed on us under a foreign agenda. He was addressing a news conference in Mufti Mahmood Secretariat here, he said that we are fully prepared to fight Imran khan who is a threat to our culture and Pashtun tradition.
He said that popularity cannot be achieved by launching misleading campaigns on social media and added that the only way to win the confidence of people is to respect their wishes. “We fully respect the judiciary that is a vital institution of our country”, he said and added we are bound to respect judiciary due to its role and position.
He said that our forefathers have fought wars for and we will not accept usurpation of any kind. JUI-F chief said that his party would continue to struggle to protect the rights of people and foil the foreign agenda of PTI. He said that Imran Khan is deceiving people by propagating the notion of conspiracy against him and maintained that he was imposed on our country through a conspiracy.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that all the efforts to dent our reputation would be opposed. He said that our coalition was meant to save the country from the enemies who are machinating with foreign funding. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we would work to save the identity and sovereignty of the country and energies would be utilized to achieve the objectives.
He said that we have majority in local government and added that rules are being formulated by our opponent to stop the funds of local government. On the occasion former MPA Fakhre Azam Wazir reposed confidence in Maulana Fazlur Rehman and announced joining JUIF with relatives and friends.
