TIMERGARA: A boy identified as Fawad son of Jehan Zeb, a resident of Zaim Asbanr area in Adenzai was killed when roof of a room caved in due to heavy rain here on Sunday, residents said.
They said the incident occurred when the roof of a room of a house owned by Saleh ur Rehman suddenly caved in. It began to rain heavily in parts of the district early on Sunday due to which several link roads in the hilly areas were reportedly blocked.
The Talash dry stream again disrupted traffic on the main Timergara Peshawar road due to flood water for several hours. The assistant commissioner revenue Timergara visited the site and directed the traffic police to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic on the road.
