LAHORE: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has launched online licensing system for the registration of medical and dental colleges in Punjab.
After the new online system, doctors across Punjab will no longer need to go to Islamabad as all registration services have been made available at PM&DC Lahore office.
PMDC President, Dr Rizwan Taj said it online licensing system is a historic step, adding that now applicants will be provided with full support on the online portal. Original certificates will reach practitioners through courier services.
Dr Rizwan Taj said registration system to be expanded across the country in phases. The second phase to start soon in Peshawar and Karachi, third phase in Jamshoro and Balochistan. He said PMDC licensing system to start in Multan in fourth phase.
